Give the gift of Coburg

With a Coburg gift you can invite a friend to try Coburg Pro for a week, free of charge. If your friend then subscribes to a paid plan, you receive credit for your own use of Coburg. This page explains how gifts work and the terms that apply to them.

How it works

  1. Open Give the gift of Coburg from the menu in the Coburg app or on coburg.ai.
  2. Tap Share and send your personal invitation link to a friend.
  3. Your friend logs in to Coburg with Google, Microsoft or Apple through your link and starts one week of Coburg Pro for free by adding a payment card.
  4. If your friend subscribes to a paid plan, you receive 10 € of Coburg credit.

Who can send a gift

  • Any person with a Coburg account in good standing and an active Coburg plan can send gifts.
  • Each account has 3 gifts. The gift page shows how many you have left.
  • If you share your link with more people than you have gifts, the gifts go to the first friends who use the link.

Who can receive a gift

  • Your friend must be new to Coburg — the gift is for a person who has never had a Coburg account or a paid Coburg plan.
  • Each person can receive only one gift, no matter how many invitations they get.
  • You cannot send a gift to yourself or to another account of your own.
  • Your friend must accept the Coburg Terms of Service and follow the Usage Policy, like every Coburg user.

The free week of Pro

  • After logging in through your link, your friend starts the week by adding a payment card on the secure Stripe payment page. The week ends seven days after it starts.
  • During the week your friend can use everything included in Coburg Pro, with Coburg credit for the week in proportion to one month of Pro (7/30 of the monthly Pro credit).
  • Nothing is charged during the week. When it ends, Coburg Pro continues as a monthly subscription and the card is charged, unless your friend cancels before the week ends in Billing. After cancelling, your friend continues on the Free plan.
  • Everything your friend creates stays in their own storage, as for every Coburg user — also after the week ends.

Your credit

  • You receive the credit after your friend has paid for the first month of a paid Coburg plan (Basic, Pro or Team). You must have an active Coburg plan at that moment — otherwise the credit for that friend is lost.
  • The credit is added to your Coburg credit and is used for AI answers, pictures and other work in Coburg, in the same way as the credit included in your plan.
  • You can receive credit for at most 3 friends — one for each gift.
  • The credit is valid for 12 months from the day it is added. Credit you have not used carries over to your next billing periods while you keep an active Coburg plan; if your plan ends, unused credit expires. It has no cash value, cannot be paid out, exchanged or transferred to another account, and cannot be used to pay for a plan.
  • If your friend's payment is refunded or reversed, we may remove the credit.

Fair use

Gifts are meant for real people you know. Gifts must not be sold, published in coupon or deal sites, or used with fake or automatically created accounts. If we see misuse, we may cancel gifts, remove credit received through them or end the free week early, and in serious cases suspend the accounts involved under our Terms of Service.

Changes and end of the program

We may change these terms, the number of gifts or the amount of credit, or end the gift program at any time. Changes do not affect a free week that has already started or credit that has already been added. Unused gifts end when the program ends.
